Our first Mpls Mom Tribe event kicked off this platform in a big way.  The event was held at Meghan Doll's studio, which is a beautiful lofted space in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Moms and their children attended the morning event and had the opportunity to make new contacts, collaborate and build confidence in all that they do.  The event has plenty of lounge and conversation areas so moms could relax, connect and mingle. A large Manhattan Toy  lounge filled with toys and activities was a great spot for the littles to play.  Cardinal Coffee served up complimentary coffee drinks, there was a  fresh pressed juicer bar hosted by Green Bee Juicery,  a donut station by Glam Doll Donuts and plenty of snacks for the children.

Mom's received a "Let's Get Social" checklist at the event, which encouraged moms to connect to other moms.

Mom's needed to complete certain activities (i.e. snap a photo with a new friend, tag a mom on instagram) in order to enter our amazing giveaways. It was great to see moms talk ,laugh, share advice and exchange phone numbers. Truly there was no a quiet moment throughout the event and everyone, including the children, were interacting with each other. Colored Organics set up a wall of envelopes where moms could write encouraging notes to other moms.

One of the busiest place of the whole event was the Manhattan Toy Lounge Where children from 6 to 9 years had plenty of toys that encouraged open-ended play. It was great to see moms be able to connect while their children also had a great time.

Meghan Doll, an amazing local children's photographer provided complimentary mini sessions against a beautiful floral vignette by local flortist Jennifer Joyce Design. There was a beauty bar by Rachel Ellen Hair for moms to receive complimentary makeup and har styling so they were ready for their close-up. It was a beautiful moment to pamper and celebrate these moms who work hard everyday.

The product bar was a great part of the event. In Minnesota there are very few baby oreinted independent retailers and our access is limited to great brands. It was an honor to introduce these women to these brands and products.
